The trays rotate through the cooking chamber at one rotation per minute. The thermometer is placed for easy reading. The unit is fabricated from twelve to fourteen gage metal, 9 gage-expanded metal is used for trays, work tables and oven grates. The firebox grate is 6 gage-expandable metal. There are two hot air chambers in the firebox. A baffle placed in the smoking chamber directs heat evenly around all four sides and catches the meat drippings, which flow into a drainpipe. A 110-volt gear motor equipped with a brake powers the rotisserie. There is a water jacket just above the firebox. The water jacket creates steam dispersed into the cooking chamber to keep you meat moist throughout. The Optional oven is excellent for cooking potatoes, beans and corn. The top can be used as a warming surface. The Bonanza has a smoking chamber 30”x34”x40” and contains four trays, The trays are 10”x37” for a total tray surface of 1,480 square inches. Each tray will hold approximately four briskets or three 15 pound turkeys. The firebox holds split wood up to 16” in length. The weight of the unit is 700 pounds. Additional cooking racks can be purchased that essentially double your meat capacity. The 1/2 K cooker provides a chef the opportunity to grill with direct heat or smoke with indirect heat. The cooking chamber has a separate fire box with an adjustable air intake to control the cooking temperature for smoking. A water jacket is located above the firebox that forms steam to keep meat moist. The 1/2 K provides the "S" pattern of smoke by positioning the clean out shovel in the middle of the grill. Direct heat can be used for grilling steaks or burgers. The 1/2 K is very versatile for competition or commercial cooking. A cook can smoke or grill. The 1/2 K has one 32" x 36" cooking chamber, is 10' long, 5' tall, 4' wide, and 12 " tires, 15 gallon water jacket, fire box, fold down table, and tail lights.
